Grimoire of Aleister Crowley hardcover once more available!

Abrahadabra Press has been on hiatus for the past weeks due to physically moving all of our stock plus Solstice holidays etc. but we are happy to announce that the hardcover version of Grimoire of Aleister Crowley is once more available to order from our Purchase page. Our apologies to all those who have been waiting patiently for us to get back online – and we encourage you to order the book now!

Kindle Grimoire once more available

We are very happy to announce that the Kindle version of Grimoire of Aleister Crowley is once more available from Amazon stores around the world – now including Amazon France and Italy as well as Amazon Germany, UK, and USA. Not only that, but it is also now available for free to Amazon Prime subscribers.

Hardback copies are still currently unavailable at this time because of us moving premises and Rodney being on tour with his band, but we are hoping to renew shipping in December in time for the Yule holiday. However please be warned that we are starting to run low on copies of this first edition, so when they do go on sale again they may go very quickly!

AP is moving!

We are currently moving our base of operations, which means considerable disruption to our ability to mail out books and prints for the duration of the move. Please note that we are unlikely to be shipping any orders before December! If in doubt, please hold off from ordering until we can guarantee our usual rapid service in the future. Thanks!

About this book

An autobiographical account of life in the New York occult underground of the 1970s and 1980s. The author was a central figure in the vibrant occult scene that blossomed in Manhattan during that period and played a significant role in the development of interest in Aleister Crowley in the United States, being actively involved in the publishing Crowley’s works and in the struggle between Marcelo Motta and Grady McMurtry, as well as being the founder of Tahuti Lodge of the O.T.O. In addition to offering a detailed historical view of events, the book also presents “a bird’s eye view of the 1960s hippie culture and its excesses of sex and drugs, and rock ‘n roll-along with an account of some of the personal transformations and penalties such a lifestyle brought forth.” An interesting and entertaining first-person perspective on this vital period of occult history, by Jim Wasserman, who has gone on to become well-known as a writer and speaker on the occult, Templars, esoteric Freemasonry and kindred subjects. NEW book. Fine in fine dust jacket.

Wasserman Books Now Available

We are very pleased to be able to offer two titles by James and Nancy Wasserman now available to purchase from us.

To Perfect This Feast: A Commentary on Liber XV The Gnostic Mass by James and Nancy Wasserman and The Slaves Shall Serve: Meditations on Liberty by James Wasserman.

These are available exclusively to our UK and European customers at the price of £13 a copy plus postage, or you can get both books together for £25 while saving on the postage!

More details on these titles are on on our ‘New Arrivals’ page, or jump straight to the ‘Purchase’ page.

Increase to Postage Costs

We have had to increase the cost of posting the Grimoire of Aleister Crowley by £1 (approx $1.6) to outside of the UK and Europe. We have been absorbing some of this cost to keep the postage rate at a manageable level for some time now and this increase reflects the true cost to us of getting your books to you. This doesn’t affect any orders in progress which are already on their way to you. Nor does it affect postage to the UK or Europe, or if you buy it on Kindle!

So that is the bad news, now for some good news, there will be new books available from us by the end of today!
